Decades of proven results
Dating back to the 1950’s when Gene Heape started his own E&P company, the Heape family has been exploring and drilling wells in some of the same countryside ever since. Under the watchful eye of 2nd generation CEO & geologist Scott Heape and his son Austin, the company continues to focus its efforts on finding the best acreage, producing economic wells, and excelling at returns to Investor-Partners.
Atoka Operating has some unique things to offer Investor-Partners, well beyond “just another energy deal”. Running a tight financial ship, de-risking through state-of-the-art technology, and expert geology are just a few of the things making Atoka one of the best performing independent E&P companies in the country. Experienced geology, multi-generational field history, de-risking technology, and prudent financial management are the hallmarks of Atoka Energy, and will be for generations to come.
